Nah my anxiety never increased. My problem was my quality of sleep. I never had any trouble in my life sleeping 6-9 hours a day. The problem was that I could still take up to four naps a day (on an off day) on top of it. I realized it was because I wasn't getting enough REM sleep. I slept all the time and was still tired. Since I quit it rarely happens that I need a nap. Most times I couldn't even take a nap if I tried forcing myself to. Now I generally sleep the same 6-9 hours at night, but when I wake my body feels ready to get up and get busy.
Gen Z is pretty smart you rock the boat you get fired very quickly. The workplace is highly political Ive rocked the boat a few times and showed intiative its rewarded with being let go. Maybe they are just playing the game banking the check!!

One of the biggest differences in my opinion is how easy knowledge is to gain these days. A simple google search of today would be an entire day at the library when i was kid. It used to require initiative but now just whip out the phone and you're set

Because they don't hire people with initiative. You combine global reach with AI to filter out everybody but the perfect cog of hard skills, and never once do they look at a resume like there's a human being with growth and potential behind it
This guy is just passing the buck when he and his generation are in the leadership position to do something about it. Why is the country failing? The lack of accountability and weakness he represents in the older generations that had it easy.

I'ma be honest, I like the standard right where it is for Gen Z. Why?? Because all I do is take a little initiative and step up to lead when no one else will... so far, it's worked out. Ive had as many lead/chef positions as I've had just regular cook positions. I was a lead by 19 with my first chef position coming at 23. It was easy too. Dana White had a great quote "if youre even a little bit savage, you can run all these soft mfs over." 😂 It's crazy.... Where I'm at now, I've gotten as many raises as some people who have been there 15-20 years. Why? Because you can create value and it's up to you whether or not to be indispensable. The attitude of "I only do what I'm paid to do" is gonna get you left right in the same spot.. and then people who go above and beyond step over you.

I intermittent fast. Wake up at 5am and eat my first meal of 60g protein at 10:30am. It's a little over 1/3 of my daily protein intake. I find excersizing in the morning while fasted gives me way more energy during the day and allows a larget post-workout meal when the nutrients really count.
What do you eat for your first meal??
Lool 😆 protein is important for sure.. but carbs aren't enemy at any age .. bagels are okish but not best option opt for oatmeal some protein pancakes or pancakes with eggs 😋 I'm a bodybuilder in my mid 30s so guess ists different for me. But as I said carbs at any age is fine as long as you're active 👌

I've been trying to get up early in the morning, because Nature is wonderful around sunrise - but I am a singer, so most often it's around or after Midnight when I get home and I need time to wind down. Falling asleep around 2am, no way I'd get up at 6am or so and kickstart my day, every day... And once I am on the run, I am on the run, I'd not like to "waste" my time on sleeping during the day. Any recommendations? Oh, and I don't like to eat in the morning.
